Capturing Your Memories and Turning Your Moments Into Art
Tonight I'm sharing with you some of the results from the session I completed recently with the Panter children (Ethan, Briley, Ayden, and Gracie). It seemed like we were never going to get to do this session! We had their session scheduled 2-3 times before the date that it was finally held and kept getting rained out. But, perhaps things worked out for the best because it gave us plenty of time to plan the session.
We had to do 2 versions of this shot ... one with them more serious and one where the boys could have fun with their protective faces. The humorous part here is that Ayden is still smiling and according to his mom (Melissa) and his siblings, he is the most protective of Gracie.
Here, the boys were waiting to "surprise" Melissa and Gracie when they came back out from changing Gracie's outfit ... got to love the antics of brothers (but only they are allowed to mess with their sister)!
The sunset was gorgeous that evening.
No session at Sewanee would be complete without having at least one shot that includes the War Memorial Cross and we managed to include several. This one here really highlights just how tall the cross is ... the kids are tiny in comparison (and Ethan and Briley are pretty close to my height)!
Any of you who know me also know that I love good silhouette shots, so I'll leave you with one. To see more of the kids' photos, be sure to check out their session album in my gallery!
