Capturing Your Memories and Turning Your Moments Into Art
I've shared several photos from this session, so many of you are probably familiar with this bunch. They really were a fun group to work with and I'm glad that I was able to help them document their memories and to be able to just relax and enjoy the day knowing that I was there with my camera (so they didn't have to worry about how to get these shots).
David contacted me a few weeks before their family get-together. The location was at the home where most of them grew up that his sister now has. So, this gathering was both a time for them to all see each other and visit and to come back to the family home.
I'm going to focus more on the unplanned moments/shots here. If you would like to see the posed, group shots, please visit their album in my gallery.
First, some shots around the property.
I don't know how many of the unposed shots they were planning on, but there were definitely some fun, sweet, photogenic moments.
One thing is for certain with living where I live ... you can always count on their being plenty of good, home-cooked food and you'd better eat at least some of it! I do believe that I had 6 different members of the family tell me to be sure to get some food within a 15 minute time span, gotta love southern hospitality!
This little sweetheart definitely knew to take advantage of the spread of food available.
Using stones as a balance beam with daddy's help.
This was such a fun family and I'm glad that I got to be a part of their day. Once again, be sure to check out the remainder of their photos in their album!
