Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting one of our local seniors to shoot his Senior 2015 session.  Jordan is part of the Grundy County High School 2015 graduating class, so his mom wanted to be sure and have some photos to remember this time.

We did a combination of the nicer, more formal shots for Jordan's mom and then some hunting theme shots for Jordan.  The location was a good one, too, as Jordan told me during the session that he's spent time at the Stampfli-Stoker Homestead helping with the upkeep of the place and hanging out.

Up here, a lot of out-of-school activities include hunting and the outdoors, so I'm really glad that we were able to capture that part of Jordan's life.  Formal shots are great, but being able to work in what's important to someone is what makes memories.

The whole time, Jordan had to work at keeping a straight face when his friend would come into sight.  In the shot below, his friend came around the corner with Jordan's hunting shirt and cap on top of his head ... needless to say, laughter ensued.

Of course, I managed to get Jordan laughing as well when I look back at his friend near the end of the session to give him a hard time about goofing off behind me.  Got to love dealing with teenagers; they will definitely keep you entertained!

DM PHOTOGRAPHY DM PHOTOGRAPHY Life is an adventure, but I'm sure that it's one that Jordan will tackle full force.  Good luck the rest of the school year, Jordan, and as you move on to the next part of your adventure in life!
